Burdened To Witness To A Unification Church (Moonies) Member

Hello there! I just want to request that you make a study or at least post information about the Unification Church. In case you are not aware, this cult is all over the place. They have an office here is South Triangle, Q.C. It’s along Samar Avenue between GMA 7 and ABS-CBN. I was in need of info about them tonight because I wanted to minister to someone involved in their movement. God bless the BEREANS! You are doing great for the kingdom.

Isamu Yamamoto gave us the following witnessing tips towards Unification Church members in his book Unification Church © 1995:

1. Treat people as individuals.

1. Understand the most common reasons people join the Unification Church.
   1. Some Unificationists are bitter against traditional religion.
   2. Some Unificationists are idealistic.
   3. Some Unificationists need to be a part of a family.Unificationists believe the doctrines they are taught.
   4. Some Unificationists are looking for an authority figure.
   5. There are other reasons people join the Unification Church besides those listed above.
2. Know what to focus on to reach the Unification Church member.
   1. Always make Christ the central focus of your discussion.
   2. Be sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
   3. Pray for discernment while interacting with people in the Unification Church.
   4. Study the Bible regularly to be ready to effectively share the gospel with people of Unification Church.
   5. Be prepared to ask the right questions.
